Scheduling Permit Inspections

To schedule an inspection for an issued permit, please email an inspection request to:

Include the following information:

  1. Permit Number
  2. Type of inspection
  3. Address where the inspection is to be performed
  4. Name of Person requesting inspection
  5. Contact information for the person requesting inspection or who will be on site for the inspection

We require a minimum of 24 hour notice for an inspection requests.  You will receive an email response once your inspection has been scheduled.

Please do not leave permit inspection requests in any voice mails systems.  We cannot guarantee that the request will be heard in a timely manner

Remote Video Inspection Program

Because of the need to maintain social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to perform in-person inspections through the month of May 2020. As a result, all inspections will be done virtually. Below is a list of inspections that we will perform remotely through Face Time or Skype.  If the inspector does not feel comfortable performing the inspection for any reason, we will have to schedule a site inspection when it is safe to do so.

  • Frame Rough (small rehab jobs)

  • Mechanical framing rough
  • Mechanical framing final
  • Pool/spa electric final
  • Sewer/Water lines rough and final
Exterior Inspections with no contact with residents or contractors Below is a list of exterior inspections that we can perform as long as we have no contact with the resident or contractor.  It must be made clear, we will not inspect if the resident or contractor are outside onsite.
  • Replacement windows
  • Replacement siding
  • Trim and Soffit repair/replace
  • Fence
  • Storage Shed
  • Post holes for decks
  • Pool Final
  • Concrete and asphalt driveways, removing and replacing with same dimensions only
  • Concrete patio and walkways
