COMMUNITY CENTER REOPENING ANNOUNCEMENT
MARCH 25, 2021

The Village of South Holland is pleased to announce a phased reopening of the South Holland Community Center! With COVID-19 cases decreasing and more than 400,000 Cook County residents having received vaccination, we feel confident to move forward with safely and gradually reopening.

Phase 1 begins Monday, April 12, and includes the following:

*Members only can enjoy full membership amenities, which include:

  • Fitness Center
  • Gym
  • Pool
  • Walking Track

*The walking track is also open to the public, for ages 21 and above.

*Limited rental opportunities at the Community Center will also resume beginning April 12. Rooms can be rented Monday-Saturday at limited times. Gatherings must be limited to 50 people or 40% of room capacity, whichever is lesser. To reserve a rental, please visit southholland.org or call the Community Center at 708.331.2940.

All mandated safety protocols will be in place to protect our visitors and staff. This includes mandatory face coverings, social distancing, and limiting the number of people using the facilities.

We will notify residents of subsequent reopening phases as the COVID-19 cases continue to decline, the vaccination rate increases, and the State of Illinois loosens its restrictions for gathering in public spaces. We very much look forward to seeing our members in the Community Center again soon!
