The South Holland Memorial Day Parade is back for 2021! At this annual event, we remember and honor military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. We encourage schools, churches, businesses, and civic groups to participate in the parade.

South Park Avenue from 170th St to Veterans Memorial Park

We are asking parade participants and spectators to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. For safety reasons, there will be no judging, post-parade ceremony, or special Veteran seating area this year.

Take time to honor veterans of the United States Armed Forces by participating in South Holland’s Annual Memorial Day Parade! Application deadline is Monday, May 3.

    A Zoom link and the Parade Participant Packet will be emailed to you prior to the meeting.
    Please arrive at the South Holland Community Center at 10:00am on Memorial Day!

  • COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines

    HEALTH SCREENING
    Each organization must screen their own participants for COVID-19 symptoms before arriving.

    STAY HOME IF SICK
    If you or any of your participants have been exposed to COVID-19 or display any symptoms, they should stay home.

    MASKS ARE REQUIRED
    EVERYONE in your group, in the car, on the float and especially passing out candy or materials, needs to wear a mask or face covering at all times.

    SOCIAL DISTANCING
    EVERYONE in your group, in the car, on the float must stay at least six feet apart from each other.

    KEEP MOVING
    Be aware of the pace of the group ahead of you and keep your distance. Stay within your group.
