MISSION: 
Preserve and protect the urban forest. The South Holland Urban Forestry Commission promotes tree planting and proper maintenance of public and privately owned trees. 

FUNCTION: 
1. Provide information to community regarding proper tree planting and tree maintenance. 

2. Provide information regarding insects and diseases that can damage trees. 

3. Help with Arbor Day Celebration.
