The Village of South Holland’s Public Works department maintains the infrastructure of the village as well as designing and constructing infrastructure improvements. The daily operations of the Public Works include maintaining public facilities, parks, roadways, traffic lights, sewer systems and street lights.
The Village of South Holland’s Public Works department consists of six divisions; Administration, Parks, Roads and Right of Ways, Water/Sewer/Stormwater, Facility Maintenance and Fleet Maintenance. These divisions contain 38 Full-time, 6 Part-time and 8 seasonal employees that maintain the existing infrastructure of the village as well as design and construct future infrastructure improvements.
The Public Works Department is managed by Michael Cramer, our Public Works Director, Eric DiSanto, our Public Works Supervisor and Siobhan Schuenemann the department’s Executive Assistant. Please feel free to reach out to any one of them for help.
