About the Department

The Community Development Department supports both businesses and homeowners in maintaining the high standards of the Village of South Holland. The department is committed to fostering economic growth, preserving property values, and ensuring compliance with Village codes and ordinances.

Our mission is to facilitate new business investment, encourage business retention and expansion, and enhance the overall quality of life in South Holland—upholding the Village’s ideals of Faith, Family, and Future.
