Mission Statement
The mission of the South Holland Police Department is to create and maintain a climate of safety and security within our community while delivering quality police and customer services. We are committed to treating all individuals with respect and dignity, representing the Village in a positive manner, and fostering an environment that encourages active community participation.
About the Department
The South Holland Police Department is staffed by a dedicated team of law enforcement professionals, including the Chief, Deputy Chiefs, Lieutenants, Sergeants, Detectives, and Patrol Officers. Our Patrol and Investigative Divisions work together to enforce the Illinois Compiled Statutes and the Village of South Holland Municipal Code.
- The Patrol Division actively serves the Village’s 7.3 square miles and more than 22,000 residents.
- Officers respond to calls through central dispatch (E-Com), averaging over 2,100 calls per month.
