Large Residential Gathering Permit

To maintain the peaceful atmosphere of our neighborhoods, gatherings of more than 50 people at residential properties require a Large Residential Gathering permit. This helps ensure that everyone can enjoy their homes without disturbance, especially given the limited parking and non-commercial nature of these areas.

If you plan to host an event with more than 50 guests, please follow these steps:

1. Apply for a Large Residential Gathering permit below.

2. Provide a written notification to your neighbors within 500 feet of your gathering, at least 72 hours before your event.

3. Ensure your guests do not park in a way that blocks driveways, fire hydrants, or No Parking zones.

Please note, permits cannot be issued for gatherings expected to exceed 100 people. Additionally, charging an admission fee for residential events is not permitted. 

Please also be mindful of the Village’s noise ordinance, which states that noise should not be audible beyond 75 feet from its source.

Residents may also be ticketed for “unreasonable” noises, including disturbances, commotion, vibration, or similar disruptions.
