When to Call Police

Trust your instincts. If something feels off, call.

  • Someone knocking and asking for a person who doesn’t live there
  • People in backyards who don’t belong
  • Individuals walking or running with property at unusual times
  • Parked cars with people sitting inside for long periods
  • Someone leaving a car and heading into backyards
  • Work trucks at vacant homes early morning or late at night
  • Teens out during school hours

Vehicle Safety

Most car break-ins happen because doors are unlocked. Don’t make it easy.

Lock It

  • Always lock your doors
  • Roll up all windows

Hide It

  • Keep valuables out of sight
  • Don’t leave bags, backpacks, or cases visible

Turn It Off

  • Never leave your car running unattended
  • Avoid warming up your car without a remote start
