Role
The Village Clerk serves as the official Keeper of Records, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all Village proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and record minutes of Village Board meetings, held on the first and third Monday evenings of each month, as well as all special meetings.
- Sign official Village documents, including Ordinances, Resolutions, and Reports.
Deputy Clerk
Appointed by the Clerk, the Deputy Clerk oversees the day-to-day operations of the Collector’s Office.
Clerk’s Office Services
The Clerk’s Office is responsible for collecting Village fees and permits, including:
- Water usage payments
- Vehicle stickers (automobiles, motorcycles, and trucks)
- Business licenses
- Garage permits
- Other fees and fines levied by the Village
